I can't believe anyone would even consider eating anything that has been on the floor for a while. Common sense seems to be in very short supply and not just with the locals....... you know who you are!!
Agreed. I think the 5 second rule cover this? :D

Re: A New Theory Says That People With Rh-Negative Blood Actually Come From Outer Space

As a young teen I read Erich von Däniken's 'Chariots of the Gods' about alien influence on early civilizations, but I don't think he ever suggested that they copped off with humans!

Re: First execution for 9 years in Thailand

Someone who advocates torture (cutting into pieces) as a legal punishment for crime is not worthy of inclusion in any civilised discussion. I don't know why you people EVER bother trying to 'debate' with eurotrash.

Re: Big C, Pre Cooked Chickens

I buy pork and chicken from Moowanna and never got sick. But I cook it before I eat it.... Seriously though, the raw meat is put in open bins in Tesco Lotus just the same way. And I never noticed an abundance of flies in Moowanna, plus it's always so busy there I don't think meat could ever sit long...

Re: What is your Passion in Life?

A nice thread, Pete. I'm enjoying reading people's posts. :) For around 30 years I did a job I really enjoyed (and nothing I hated before that either). In a small but global niche industry, you make friends worldwide over the years, and have lots of interesting travel experiences, with too much club...

Re: Help: Sending UK marriage cert. to Thai embassy in London

Thanks both of you.

I'll have to enlist a friend's help in the UK then I think. I don't like to impose but seems the safest way.

Re: Uploading photo here?

No need to be snotty with your questions and exclamation marks. I'm fed up with being involved in snarky threads because people start in and I respond. And there are many others apart from me that are "fed up" with your ramblings. Your need to read your own post where you posted: The problem with t...

Re: Uploading photo here?

I always use Faststone Photo Re-sizer, which can be downloaded free of charge. Very easy to use, but not an online program. Yes me too for a lot of things, it's a very good program, but I like to post higher resolution if people may want to download the image to keep, so that's why I use an online ...

Re: Uploading photo here?

I wrote the guide trying to be helpful. You are very welcome to devise your own solution. There's no-one here more helpful than you. I never use the online service - I found something much better, which I have advised, several times on this forum. There are several threads on this topic, with lots ...
