We moved here in March and I have looked thru HHAD quite a few times but never posted anything. I've found very helpful advice and information on the site. Just this past week we chose Ao Manao Beach outside of PrachuapKhirikhan based on advice from HHAD. Thanks for the great advice! We will return...

Yes, welcome to the forum. Having either or will assist you in your search for a job, many places now see having one as a prerequisite, along with a degree. TEFL course with Insight English costs 26,600 baht on promotional offers or £520 in english, the next course starts monday 30th August.

Either certificate will do, your ability to find work will depend on your teaching skills, if you arrive and are still thing about working as an English teacher check out Insight English with schools in Hua Hin, Cha-am and Bangkok, David

You do have to still do 90 day reporting OR leave the country with an ED visa. The 90 day reporting is cheaper than flying to Singapore, say, but probably not much less than going down to Ranong. I think it is 1900 baht. If you get the single entry, then you have to renew the actual visa quarterly ...

Should you study Thai culture or language, the answer i think is no in such a short time frame you should simply enjoy your selfs.

The only name worth mentioning when talking about Thai language lessons or educational visas is Insight English, to go to there website click Insight English on the sponsors list.

Insight English has schools in Hua Hin, Cha-am and Bangkok,
