My understanding if a Thai can do the job then you by law can't,if its so specialised that a Thai cant do a certian job task you can obtain a visa to train them up.
So whatever way you look at it you legally cant do anything in your own house even your own gardening.

Most bars the girls will rack the balls for you and if no one else around will always have a game as well.They very on how good they play from one bar to another,but you will always find someone to play.

My first visit to Huahin was 1999,stoped off for the night on my to Ko Samui and ended staying for 6 weeks.

First arrived in Huahin around 2000 as a single and partied a lot then now i,m married and still living in Huahin but work Australia,not much has changed for me,when I retun home still get out and party except now I have my wife who is with comes out with me. :P

Dont know about busses traveling south but the station on Phetachasem road do have busses traveling some go to Korat and Kong Keen not shure about other destinations though.

A reasonable place to go for a feed and listen to live music is My bar on Canal road have a duo singing upstair till 9pm and then downstair after 9 they have a 5 piece band playing both Thai and English after 9pm.

My wife lives there but I work in Australia and work for 4 weeks then spend a week in Huahin but when between jobs can spend up to 3 months there

For me what I like about Huahin is
A short drive to some good quite beachs
Reasonable nightlife
Its a family friendly environment
And there isn't any gogo bars so it doesn,t attract the hard core tourest as in Pataya

What I refered to before is what Toyota have told my wife and as we all know we only get told half the story when your getting it secend hand from a Thai with the language barrier,unfortunatly i'm stuck in Aussy and not due back till end of the month then have to drive up north.

Driving with red plates

Does anyone know what the laws are on driving with the red plates on a new car are?What my wife is telling me the plates you get are only Phetakirikan which covers Huahin but you can pay more if going forther afield and they isue you a differant set of plate a letter from the police that covers you?

I will have to ask the wife but my impression the classes weren't 40 per room but we do pay some extra per month extra tuition and it is an english language program,and she also studies some chinesse and japanees.But will chech on the class sizes
