Dr Dave - great post (pg 1), thanks for the pic.

Red Dwarf - Disagree with you, Vegemite is WAY better than Marmite.

Mozzies - Loath you !!! Why do you exist in the circle of life ? Does anyone know what purpose they serve ?

Every Farang should read the book 'Private Dancer' by Stephen Leather. It puts the who's exploiting who concept into perspective in a very balanced, readable story. My take is that both Farang and BG engage in a 'transaction', for very different reasons. It ends in tears when one party (usually Fara...

I'm neither old fashioned nor jealous, but I'd like to extend this to vests, usually worn by blokes trying to show off their muscles. They should stay in the gym, not go into bars/restaurants .... Saw a chap in a vest at one of the nicer restaurants one evening and it looked rude and out of place. S...

I noticed a few people in wheelchairs during a recent stay at the Hilton, including heavy motorised types, so the Hilton at least has good accessibility. I agree with Norseman's comments ... the streets of HH pose numerous obstacles for wheelchairs. Wheelchair users could find themselves fairly conf...

I guess it depends on the kids and what they are used to whether they would find it noisy at the Hilton Brewery ? Mrs M knows it has live bands but doesn't seem put off ... Of course, you could always sit outside there also if you found it too noisy inside. I think even the kids would find the live ...

My impression is that Lev et al go to great lengths to prevent multiple posts, to keep info relevant. Newbies (incl myself), read older posts for information. The whole idea of a 'forum' is to post information which would be useful to others .... not just the 'poster'. Judging by your posts Norseman...

Before going to HH for the first time I wondered whether there was such a service and as we know, there is nothing. What you have described would (approx) halve the road travelling time which could open up the market, although it might be less comfortable at times. If your target market is tourists,...

I'd recommend Seafood Market for the experience. It's not cheap but the sheer size of the restaurant and the fresh fish/seafood available is worth it. It's near the Emporium shopping Mall.

What on earth happened between having the Christmas meal, which you praise on the feeding time forum, and this? Good question Caller .... we had the Christmas meal with the main 'pack' and didn't think it was bad at all .... even though it was expensive. We were booked (pre-paid through our TA and ...

There are one or two places where you might be offered a HJ with your massage. Had an interesting experience at one place in particular when I went there with the wife but I don't think I'm allowed to post details on here. Perhaps when I 'qualify' for the night crawlers section ....
