And I would encourage all other consumers who are happy with their property purchase, to come to the next meeting so we can benefit from how they (positively) dealt with any issues they had.

Very good point JD and I second that. Will be very interesting to hear the happy stories of those who never had a problem and WHY THAT WAS. Did they get the water system they contracted for, the pest control system they contracted for, the underground sprinkler system they contracted for, the motion detectors and lights on the perimeter walls they contracted for, and the drainage system detailed in the plans approved by the tessaban? And if not, how did they persuade their builder/developer to comply. That would be very useful minformation indeed.
so we can benefit from how they (positively) dealt with any issues they had.
Some people here cannot grasp the positive that can be generated by the negative Is the formation of this 'association' a positive thing?
I dare to say that if I had received a fair hearing at any of the FOUR, (count 'em-- 4)levels of local government on my fleecing for 6 million baht, my story would never have made the international press and become the proximate cause of the birth of the proposed association. Many people around town are blaming ME for hurting business and the name of HH. Well, that's as brilliant as blaming the rape victim for the rape. If the laws of Thailand and the regulations of HH and PKK were followed or enforced my personal rape would not have occurred. You ought to be blaming a certain developer or developers and those who protect them for the tarnished image of HH. If it wasn't me, some other squeegeed idiot would come along sooner or later and put you all through the same turmoil. Some of you property agents are very culpable because you continue to show and sell property that doesn't even meet the engineering standards of Thailand. Property with loose wiring, i.e., not in conduit, or metal roof beams and welds not painted with rust inhibitor. Some of you don't know or don't want to know, but the worst of you do know and don't give a shite. I know some of you and you pose as bastions of decency while pushing tainted property. Disgusting! You want to drive the rape victims out of town for daring to claim you can get screwed, blewed, and tattooed by some of the leading personalities in Paradise City. Pull up your nickers and shut up you advise. Look at all the people who don't get raped here. But that advice only leads to more and more rapes. To stop the raping you got to get rid of the perpetrators, not the victims. Khao jai?
I look forward to working with you in the 'association.'

The devil made me do it the first time.
The second time I did it on my own.
