After mixed results buying expensive meats around here I now buy from Bangkok and have it shipped here. Never had a problem, or a bad piece of meat, from them.
Are you maybe talking about the company that is on Facebook as Bangkok Beef? Would be nice if you share your source. An American friend uses them a lot and swears by them for great imported meat at a good price.
Yes that's the one. Have bought many times from them, never a problem. They have always had a good variety at many price points. I ordered a 8 bone prime rib from them last Christmas and it was one of the best I've ever had including back in the states. It was also ~50% cheaper than others I've ordered around here and BKK.

Looking at the Bangkok Beef website today, they seem to sell bone in rib roast by the single bone slice only? Is that how yours came Migrant? There are many farms/ranches where the meat comes from as well. Do you recall which one you bought?

Mine came intact, uncut which was the way I requested it. They've cut steaks for me to the requested thickness too. I don't recall Pete which brand but will dig around and see if I can find out.

The website looks different too, I requested, and ordered from, their facebook page. It's the same people that own Sunrise Tacos, Greg Lange.

I used to order with paleo robbie, great cuts, bit expensive i think.
Arno's will be tried at my next visit to BKK....hear good stuff and see acceptable prices
Gauchos at Thonglor was expensive and OK, but not as good as the price suggests, it is a franchise so quality can differ between restaurants.
My son recently went to El Toro Sukhumvit 31, he was happy with quaility and price and he is carnivore....like me
