You're correct. I stand corrected. I was going on the post Joelle made although I see that that was some time ago.

Further to lomuamart's comments ref the HHH for test and go second PCR test, we were in and out within 30 mins this morning, arrived at 8.45am. No mention of the appointment but all was done outside in the tented area, just go straight to the TnG tent, fill out 2 forms for reg etc. Easy, just got fingers and toes crossed now for our results. GN.

Ok, have now received our results, negative for both at the moment :duck: What confuses me is the Morchana app has been bugging us to upload result over the last 24 hours , which I cannot work out how to do and no one seems to care about it. Anyone else been arsed to use the app? GN.

I tried but gave up in the end and I’ve received absolutely nothing on it.

Thanks Dannie Boy, at least me and the wife have a good old fashioned piece of paper as proof of test.

I assumed that HH hospital would have informed them of my result and as I didn't hear anything I tested negative.

I've uninstalled the app.

Just a few minutes ago I received another notification that is actually a link, so pressed on that and it brought up a screen with about 3 fields to complete and upload a photo of the result cert, job done, my QR status code has returned to green after turning orange this morning. Hope that's the end of it. But will uninstall if further issues.

The LHG is still in China after saying our farewells to mother-in-law who has unfortunately passed, and is now sorting out things, seeing family, CNY etc.....

She is thinking of visiting friends of ours in Thailand whilst she is in "the area", but we are being given masses of conflicting advice. She is a Chinese citizen/passport holder, but has an "Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa" for the UK - and has been given both jabs of the Pfizer vaccine here in the UK. Not entirely sure what effect this has on visiting Thailand, but Thai immigration do seem to be a little more favourable to Chinese tourists. Would she be liable to a hotel isolation?

Any advice would be very much appreciated :thumb:

Personally, I'm hoping to visit later this year when all this cr@p has (fingers crossed) died down....

I doubt there is any favouritism to any nationalities at the moment, other than maybe Thai,
But the only options I’m aware of is one of the Sandbox schemes (Phuket and three more islands) where they have to stay for 7 days and then subject to negative PCR tests are then allowed to venture anywhere in Thailand. The only other option is the Alternative Quarantine route where you have to stay in a hotel for a minimum of 7 days - further details on what’s required here
