I was Bang Sapan Pete, it is about 30KM south of the Prachuap Provincial Capital and looks set to be the next Hua Hin.

I think that was a mountain made out of a molehill. The mining operation was Lomu looking for his last stash of Chang. The poison water was because he has not had his septic tank emptied for seven years

Universal studios has anounced that they are going to build a place in Singapore on sentosa .
They have signed a deal that they will not build another in SE Asia for at least 30 years.

Disney, or a similar type of family theme park, would give Hua Hin the opportunity to rid itself of labels like "brothel town":

You should try visiting the place sometime, then you'll realise that is baloney.

Makes a change from Hua Hin being described as having no nightlife.

Both descriptions are untrue.

I cant wait until i arrive at the end of the week.

Whether it is baloney or not, it is a view expressed on the web and it is a view I have also heard said in the UK.

I have only been to Hua Hin twice and my knowledge of the town is limited. First time Mrs Trotter and I visited was probably only a couple of years ago when we stayed at Jed Pee Nong in town. Second time was in May this year when we stayed at a friends house at Tropical Hill (Tai Tam on this forum).

I like the place and it seems to me it needs to make a decision about whether it wants to become another Pattaya or something more upmarket. There is no doubt it is going to take off big time.

Generally a theme park/fun park is family entertainment. To my mind a theme park is one way the local government of Hua Hin could send out a clear message about the kinds of visitors it would like to attract.

For those who prefer their entertainment to be more adult, well, as an earlier post said, you still might get "Snow White" to do her stuff down Soi Bintabaht. A theme park would create plenty of employment in the area and no doubt draw in many budding young Snow Whites and Cinderellas from other parts of Thailand.

What is it you are getting excited about, a Theme Park or girls coming in from all over Thailand?
If it is a Theme Park then all well and good, great for familie's and Tourism.

If you want the girlie's then Trott off to Pattaya. :guns: :guns: :guns:

Would not agree with this statement.

I do not believe the gossip about "Disney Land', but if the case, then it would and will be very positive for Hua Hin and Thailand.

Hua Hin a Brothel Town, I think it can perceived as seedy if you are at the lower end of the tourism ladder, Pool and Hooker's.

The 4 and 5 star tourists usually use their Hotel/Golf Facilitie's and visit quality establishments.

Even the nice Bars in the red light area have seen the light and have invested in their Bar's, they have opted not to have BG's (Crawfords, El Murphy's and Johnny Walkers). So perhaps this is the start or drive for quality tourist's and let the sex tourist go to Pattaya and Phuket.

Trotter,

I don't know what you are trying to say but if you in any way believe the journalistic bullshit on the link you have attached did you not notice who was paying for it. In case you were not aware of how Internet business works, I will tell you with regards to this site. It is funded by its advertisers. Pseudo reporting is inserted that relates to the motivations of the funding advertisers. It is the equivalent of the type of things you may have seen written accompanying "Penis Enlargement" and "Cure for Baldness" advertisements which the press media have to clearly state above that they are advertisements. In this case it is the Sex Industry which has blighted the Internet from day one and is one of the contributory factors to the .com collapse in the late nineties.

May I point out here that this site does not operate on those lines and free speech is permitted by anybody who abides by the T & Cs.

Gullible or what???

Disney land in Hua Hin? Yet to be proven one way or another but most likely a rumor spread to manipulate the stock value of the land purchaser or the surrounding land values.

I hope it will be built soon.

I have enough of Hua Hin beeing a Altersheim.

The farangs which dont like it, can move to Isaan or somewhere in to the Jungle where they can keep their own little world.

For the young people and the thai people it will be a great development
