Yes, you are missing something. I currently get the judging sheets back, then I have to mark them. I then have to collate the resultant scores and sort them into order. Please believe me, this is very time consuming, and that is a huge task that will go.
A single judge will simply return a judging paper with entries marked 1 through to 5 - I transcribe that onto the thread page and announce the winner.
My task is reduced by 60 to 90 minutes each week .
Thank you. Now I've got it. One judge for one competition and your input and collation is simplified

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Are you sure you want to continue with it? It will be a great loss if it closes down
It was something you started up, a very popular topic. I for one, look forward to it, even though I never win
Simply hadn't appreciated the effort and time you put in BB .... Certainly do now and hope a win-win solution can be found where you can reduce the time put in and the competition can also continue. A very big hand for your efforts over the years - a very popular and fun part of the forum..
And now that the DM/Bristolian stranglehold has come to an end for at least one week.....

I'm willing to do this. There's nothing at stake here, so I assume there are no trust issues involved.
