No, they're all British Civil Servants - they're too dedicated to take time off. :run:

They certainly wouldn't accept a bribe :D

Yep, I remember being one of those a long time ago.
We would only take an F/I day in the direst of circumstances. You know, when you wake up after a night on the tiles , think "Feck It", call in sick while your voice is hoarse from sleep, alcohol and too many fags, then go back to sleep...

You were saving it?
Yes, I was saving it - sad isn't it?
I thought of it at the same time as the 'nasty gash' and then thought - maybe someone else will make the same connection and do a better job.
You'll be offering the judges a free holiday next!
What do you mean next? - I won't be paying for any more holidays for that lot, the state they left my house in the last time just prior to my three-in-a-row run ! Bloody Civil Servants - not civil at all !

I once knew a Naked Civil Servant or was that a movie or a figment of my imagination?

If it was a figment of my imagination, I'd be seriously concerned!

I survived my ordeal in Bangkok yesterday, so here we go. This week's top 5 are:

5th Frank Hovis with "Knowing the underwater rocks were very sharp, Jim rushed his wife to the first aid tent as she seemed to have a very nasty gash." (24 Points)

2nd= dtaai-maai with "Look, I know you said you wanted to dance cheek to cheek on the beach, but this is ridiculous!" (28 Points)

2nd= dtaai-maai with "Yes, I know what it's called, but you're a fisherman, not a fireman!! PUT ME DOWN!!!" (28 Points)

2nd= Frank Hovis with "It was the first time Dave had caught crabs at the beach.... and he wasn't happy." (28 Points)

1st place goes to dtaai-maai with "Robinson Crusoe couldn't believe his luck!" (42 Points)

Thank you very much to all who participated. Better luck next time to those who didn't win.
dtaai-maai you now have until 23:59 on 18 Nov 12 to post the next entry. Competition results will be announced on 23 Nov 12.

Big Boy's favourite - "It was the first time Dave had caught crabs at the beach.... and he wasn't happy."
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd
