No Kenny, everything is fine here and no problems with access from computers here. Keep trying. If they were going to cut the news it would be worldwide and it isn't at the moment. Pete

Just wondered if there are any problems in Hua Hin as due to come out next week. Insurance company are saying they will not cover you for going to Thailand.

I'm getting news on my cell phone faster than is being posted on the newspaper links. 2125 hours.... 14 UDD leaders have been arrested during clashes near the National Memorial. 72 M79 grenade launchers were seized from the Red Shirts. Pete

No, we don't have, nor do we see any problems here, but the calm state of harmony can of course change to riots and turmoil in an instant. Without warning!!

Maybe it would be a good idea to postpone your visit here.
After all you have to to through Bangkok to get here.
Not to mention on your return as well.

It's more or less up to you to decide what to do, but as I said; no problems here for the time being.

Grenades, not launchers.

I've had enough of Thailand I was due to fly out on Saturday but I've just cancelled.

Emirates were good enough to re-route me to Kuala Lumpur so at least I wil have a holiday.

I'll be booking my xmas/new year trip soon and I dont think my first choice for last 4 years (Thailand) will have a chance, somewhere new for me.

RIP Thailand

My son has an iPod Touch, which is similar technology. He can access it without any problem.

Well, I just watched a report on Bkk on Sky news and its clear the Thai forces were firing wildly and indiscriminately. The film crew had to duck with the group of Police/Army they were alongside and you could see shells/rubber bullets coming from behind/to the side of them! Tragic for the guy that died but an absolute miracle more didn't.

I don't think the Thai forces have the will or ability to do the job that their rulers seem intent on doing.

No insurance? Guys on a UK/Thai site are reporting they can't get insured for their forthcoming trips.

My insurance is never for a trip to Thailand - I buy insurance for a Worldwide trip.
