Well, then I would definitely try 7/11 before I went to the water office.
You couldn't pay water bills in their stores before, but maybe things have changed.
Aah the smell of progress.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

I think it will all depend on if there is a barcode on the water bill; if there is the chances are you can pay at 7/11, if there isn't you can't.

City water is dirt cheap but it can become costly when you get it trucked in. Once we hit the water funny season we have to get water delivered at TBH 300 for 2000 liters.

Went to the Hua Hin water office today and it took all of a minute to pay my bill. They took my money (and kept the bill) and presented me with a receipt. I can now get the figures to add back as this new piece of paper contains more info, although I don't know what all of them represent:

usage = 7 units @ 3.5 baht = 24.50
something else for 15 baht, giving 39.50
plus VAT @ 7% of 2.77 baht = 42.27 baht
plus refuse collection 10 baht = 52.27 baht

P.S. I don't think my original bill had a bar code on it but I'm not 100% sure.
