Can someone give me a rough indication of how far it is by car from HH to Phuket (e.g. Patong Beach) and how long it takes driving normally (i.e. observing most of the speed limits).

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me where I can buy charcoal for a barbecue in Hua Hin?
The big shop in Market Village doesn't seem to have any - at least I couldn't find it and the sales staff didn't seem to understand what I was looking for.

Can anyone tell me whether there is a real (9-hole?) pitch & putt course in or around Hua Hin? All I've been able to find on the Internet so far is 'proper' golf courses or mini (crazy) golf courses.

We're coming to Hua Hin for 4 weeks next month and are looking to buy a prepaid SIM card for our mobile phones so that we can call home reasonably cheaply. Can anyone recommend a good provider - I've heard of AIS and DTAC, but what is your experience?
