Re: Mr Sing back open
I live on 116 every year for three months. This is great news! There are only a couple of places to eat farlang food near soi 116. I will check it out in a couple of weeks and delivery! Perfect for those days I don't want to leave to get food. Thanks for the post!

Re: beer prices
The hilton bar must have changed prices! 100 baht for a mixed drink? I have never seen a beer or mixed drink for that price. I thought it was 200 baht for a drink? Not like it is going to change my mind to visit the bar. For a two month trip I will go there maybe 2 times for a total of two hours.

Richard, I play golf at Springfield about 4 times a week and I leave on soi 116. As you probably know that is about 30 to 40 minutes to the course. I have two roommates so spliting a car won't be much. I spend only a couple of hours a day at home. 2000 baht a day for a car and driver would end up be...

Car rental for three months?
Does anyone know where I can rent a car for three months in Hua Hin. I just got to town and realized it would be easier to have a car then to call up for a taxi all day long. I looked on the rental sites on this website but they are all asking around 25000 baht a month. Seems really expensive. If an...

If you want to save 1000 baht and get to hua hin at 6:00 then I would suggest dusit thani shuttle in Bangkok. The cost is 600 baht and it leaves everyday at 3:00pm to the hua hin dusit. Once you arrive at the hua hin dusit they provide a free car ride to anywhere in hua hin. I stay about 10 km south...
