There was a great article in the latest MacFormat UK magazine about creating more drama with layers by adding more color depth... if you're in the UK, pick it up (didn't find the article online) or have a look at the newsagent's...

For example the Spitfire pic is great, but by adjusting the aforementioned, you could reduce the greyness/slight fo...

Snapshot speed: - my ...

Get on your boots (and threads too)

Last year, when I stayed Cha Am, I used a local boot maker in the Buffalo Village to make me a nice pair of Iquana boots for a reasonable price. Her name is Porn and her shop is called Star something. I also used a Burmese tailor in the same village, the quality was decent. The question is that is t...

F1 2009

I know it's a bit premature, but I'll be in HH during the Melbourne GP (29.3.). I'm sure there's plenty of places to see the GP, but I'd like to hear your recommendations for where to go see the opening of the F1 2009 season? I wouldn't mind actually just sitting under a fan with a cold drink in my ...

It's tedious enough with regular phones or even with the ones that have qwerty keyboard. This is why I have iPod Touch + Nokia E90 and with Joikuspot app in my E90, I can surf the web usi...

My mate works for Nokia.

Btw, if you go for Sam, make sure you read the reviews about the battery life in it, since it has a big screen, 8Mp camera and HD recording, those tend to eat a lot of the battery.

I have just been on the Apple website in the uk and it says that the i-phone is now operationable in Thailand, is this true ? If so, when I come out in April will my phone just switch over to the local network ? Thanks, Rig. It's not so much to do with the phone itself, but the operator. Does O2 ha...
