Get on your boots (and threads too)

Post by Cowboy »

Last year, when I stayed Cha Am, I used a local boot maker in the Buffalo Village to make me a nice pair of Iquana boots for a reasonable price. Her name is Porn and her shop is called Star something.

I also used a Burmese tailor in the same village, the quality was decent.

The question is that is there boot makers in HH, and if there are, any recommendations?

Same goes for tailors too, any recommendations?

I don't want to use the ones next to Hilton (where I'll be staying), as presumably they have the highest prices.

Or I could use the ones in Buffalo village, as the service wasn't pushy, but very helpful and he made sure I was happy with the clothes.

Sorry Cowboy, can't really help you with the question but, I presume, you mean something along the lines of,

I can just imagine some dudes strutting around Bintabaht in a pair of those with some ripped jeans on singing along to Bon Jovi.

Suits you sir!

well yeah, that's a bit like what I had done last time... but this time I'm also looking into biker boots.

however, I don't strut around in those in Thailand... only in flip flops... =)
