I too have had recent problems with post going missing which I know has been sent from the UK. I live on Soi 114 and neighbours tell me they've also had nothing for ages. I went to the main post office in search of missing post and was told my area was now served by a new office to the south of the ...

I have mine in a SCB savings account and have experienced no problems with Immigration extending my retirement visa.

For my original retirement visa application before I came to Thailand I produced an HSBC UK statement to demonstrate sufficient funds.

On my iPad2 using Chrome the whole sidebar displays at the foot of the page below the 'who is online'. It does the same using Safari.

There are usually a few stalls selling used electrical items (tools, TVs etc) at the back of the local market opposite Tesco Lotus just past the flyover heading south out of Hua Hin.

I registered by PAYG mobile a few months ago by showing my passport at the AIS counter at MV. They said this would mean that if I lost my phone (and SIM) I could go and get a replacement SIM and they would reallocate my number to the new SIM.

We had lunch today at Little Vietnam. What a treat. Good food, good prices and an owner who clearly is passionate about her food. Spotlessly clean. We'll definitely go back.

Sorry to contradict pdm3547 but chlorine is not odourless; as Takiap inferes it has a strong smell - just like household bleach...or swimming pools!!
