Workmen at Kim's Kitchen for 2 wks

Post by usual suspect »

Went for breaky at Kim's this mornin' & there's lotsa workmen in there.
The owner tells me they'll be closed for about 2 weeks while they
re-vamp the kitchen and do structual work out da back.
Still managed to blag a mug O good coffee while she explained
what was happening. Guess this'll include the take-away service for
next coupla weeks also.

Kims Kitchen has been taken over and will be under new management soon if not already so.

The new owners are the owners of Romantic Bar.

Hey there Hamok.

Kim's is open again as usual...I had breaky there this morning.
Puy,the owner since November told me most of the work done there
was to improve the kichen and to make it more efficient for the cooks.
When asked about the menu, she said she's adding more dishes to it
soon..(her mother-in-laws here at the mo. so her free-time is limited)

I still think Kim's is good value, and after an 85b breaky I'm full enuf
to last me till evening-time.

Nice guy Kim. I wonder what he's up to now in the UK?

When I last saw Kim he'd set up his own business in London.
The wife and kids moved from here to the UK to join him last month.

Last time I spoke to him he told me he coudn't stand Thailand anymore! I suspect he was too young to retire and kick back.
Buksida must be the exception...
