Zoom Whitening...

Post by Maxine84 »

I'm visiting Hua Hin in May and i am wanting to have zoom whitening done. I have been told about a clinic called 'Cool Smile Dental Clinic' in Hua Hin, can anybody tell me if this is a good recommendation, i have spoken to them and they have given me prices, i'm just wanting to know if anyone has been and what experience they had??

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Maxine: You're not being ignored. I just think that those who look at this forum haven't actually had this done.

The only time that I've heard of this 'zoom whitening' was on one of those makeover programmes on TV. It looked pretty effective.

Suggestion: As none of us have had it done, can you do a before and after photo, and be our guinea pig? It'll be interesting to know how you get on.

Good luck,

I will do yes. It consists of three 15 minute sessions with gel on under the light, then you also get a kit to take home with you (this is optional) but its to prolong the results i think :-) Thanks for replying to me! I just didn't want to be going to a dodgy clinic thats all, lol, just wondered if anyone had heard any reveiws etc about it.

Hi canthai, i was quoted 5000 baht for the zoom whitening done in the clinic, or its 7000 baht if you want to take home a kit that you use for a week after your treatment, to prolong the results.

Teeth Whitening for 30 baht!

Post by MrPlum »

Save your cash and buy a bottle of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide from any pharmacy. Dip your toothbrush in it every time you clean your teeth and you'll have pearly white gnashers within a month. (20THB).

We threw away our toothpaste long ago and use some baking soda (10THB) diluted with a little HP. Works great and healthier to boot. No toxic fluoride for the kids (or us!) :D

Hydrogen Peroxide

It will be a little dearer. Tescos or similar should have both.

There is a terrific site called earth clinic (no space) with advice on using HP for medicinal purposes along with hundreds of other cures/remedies. You'll note HP is the 2nd most popular treatment.

It's not commercial and users vote on whether a cure works or is just so much snake-oil.

When you first use the HP on your teeth you may produce some white froth. No. it's not rabies and is just the bacteria being gobbled up. The cells produce HP as a normal part of cellular metabolism. If it bothers you, dilute the HP with distilled water down to 1% or 2%.

Food grade HP is also good if you can get it. I bought a drum of in Bangkok.I dilute it down to what I need and stick it in the bath or home sauna.

The HP the hairdressers use to bleach hair is 6%. Lower dilutions are beneficial. Also for plants. I cured my daughter's earache with it just this week.

Hope this helps. Good hunting :D

From most pharmacies and I think Tesco Lotus. The shop stuff has stabilizers added that give it a slightly stronger odour. If you want a bottle of the food grade from me, I have plenty. Send me a pm and pop over to pick it up.

No charge.

As recommended by Harold Shipman to all his patients.

I am sure that I saw the formula published in the voluntary euthanasia society's monthly rag a couple of months ago.

If it's for real then I am setting up a meeting with the two remaining Bee Gees and the Osmond family ASAP.
