Is this the guy?

No phone number, but posted on another thread -

"Dr.Pairat Eye-Clinic between Soi 88/1 and 88/2, close to Phetchkasem Rd. ..."

Just by the Grand, I guess?

Would be interested to hear more about laser treatment if it can be done in Hua Hin.

Just contacted these guys about it: http://www.lasikthai.com/en/

Dr. Pairat eye clinic telephone number is 032 516 544.

Not to be confused with Dr Pairat the gynecologist, who looks into a different eye altogether. (sorry). He has several clinics in Hua Hin also. :thumb:

Hi JD

Thanks for Dr. Pairat's Tel number :thumb:

Scuse my ignorance - but is the clinic named "Dr. Pairats Eye Clinic" - or under another name?

Can you also kindly provide the address and/or the approx location which I can look up on the City or Area Maps

I'll be arriving HH in a few days time for around 3 weeks so plenty of time to go and get my eyes checked by him, may be able to get rid of the reading glasses if he's able to correct the problem!

Hope to meet up with you JD and other members here during my visit! :thumb:

 bradders

Lasik replied within 24 hours, here is a snippet of the wealth of info they sent me:
The price of LASIK surgery at TRSC ranges from THB 66,000 to THB 79,500 for both eyes depending on the technology employed.
There is a whole bunch of technical stuff and you need an examination first to determine which type of surgery is required.

I suggest anyone interested in Laser has a look at Super Sight which is caried out at the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. I have two friends who had it done last year and it was fantastic. Mush better than Laser but cost last year bht 160,000. It will give you perfect eyes for life. unlike laser if you have short and long sight problems both eyes are corrected and not just one eye for short and the other for long. PET

What were your findings then richard?

Lasik look very professional but it means spending a week in Bangkok which isn't really practical for me.
