kims Kitchen

Post by redstar2910 »

I know kims kitchen has been open a while but i went there for the first time the other day, since chris and his wife took over.Had an english breakfest and i have to say its one of the best ive had in hua hin, probably the best.Sausages were great and everything cooked nicely.Only bad thing was the toast came out about 7 minutes before the breakfest.
Ive had breakfest's in most places in the town centre, but has anyone other suggestions for a decent slap up breakfest?[/b]

I agree Kim's makes a great breakfast. Others worth considering are -
Crawford's, (good but pricy)
Victoria bar, (can get quite full)
Bernie's, (best toast, really chunky)
The Boat. (good price, and friendly owner. Tommy)
Can't think of any others at present...

Buffalo bills (depends on your budget). Very varied menu
Sara Jane's (not big, but excellent bacon)
Jungle Juice
Lord Nelsons
Johnny Walkers

Victoria restaurant is on Petchekasam alone from the Municiple building on the corner of the major crossroads (mammoth portions). Always heaving

Family friendly bar on the road up towards the station from Petchekasam (on the right). Very cheap but wholesome

Anywhere know where you can get a breakfast with Kidneys?

I believe Victoria Bar is here. If I'm wrong, kill me!

I haven't had them for quite a while but Limelight and London Bar always used to do good English breakfasts too so worth checking out to see if they still do.

The Boat is beside the night market.to be precise its about 70 yards from the bus station on the same side.have only had the breakfest there before but everytime its quite good.not the biggest portion but always good and like i said friendly staff and well priced. But for me you cant beat the sausages in kim's,you can get them in Country Kitchen and there quality.

As for the map on one of the posts of the victoria, what website can i look on to get that.would be well appreciated.

Didnt know that london bar and limelight bar do food, will try it

Crawford's is opposite London bar. As I stated its pricey, but they have to pay for air-con, decent staff etc.... up to you?

Victoria bar is next to Georges bar. Gets quite full, but no Thai food for your girlfriend!!! which is why it doesnt get my vote. Shame...

Bernie's is in the Karaoke section behind the Hilton, and is prob the best in my opinion. If a bit dingy...

The Boat is good and has a great Thai guv named Tommy. It is next to 'Krung Thai' bank by the night market. The chips are very thin though...?

As a side note, in my opinion if your not full to bursting for about 160bht its too expensive. Remember your paying for the environment in which you are eating.

Does that mean Pen and Kim from Kims Kitchen have moved on?

If so are they still in Hua Hin?

Righto! The picture of Victoria location is lifted off Google Earth. I use FastStone Capture for the screen capture.
IMNSHO FastStone is the most convenient picture management program in the net, and it's free.
