Baby supplies in Hua Hin

Post by Pip »

I've been to Hua Hin quite a few times but in January we travel for the first time with our baby. I know that there are plenty of Seven Elevens and a Tesco's but I dont know if they readily stock baby essentials such as nappies, formula feed and jars of baby food. Can anyone advise? :)

Plenty of Mamy Poko pampers style nappies and shelves full of baby milk formulas at Tescos. Some 7/11's have a much smaller choice but probably enough in an emergency.
Enjoy your visit!

Big C has a huge baby section. Nappies and milk formula is a fair bit cheaper in Geeun Teung supermarket if you're buying in bulk, you notice the markup in Tesco's when you're spending a small fortune on this stuff every month!

Never used the jars of baby food, rice and fruit mashed up does the trick!

They're fragile. Hold them the right way up and don't drop them.

Make sure you keep the receipt.

Sorry, Pip, couldn't resist! You might just get a few more helpful suggestions...

Hi Pip. Have a 2 year old boy. Light of our lives and keeps us busy. My only tip is to keep the same rotuine that you do at home i.e. same feeding time, same bed time, bring some of the fav toys. Anything to make them feel comfortable and normal just like at home. We travel alot for work and business and these little things can make a big difference to the little ones. Hope this is of some help
Cheers

If you've got one - figure out what caused it and stop doing it.
Keep 'em until they're 5 (still cute) then send them away until they're old enough and have enough money to buy you a drink

 just take the toddler to any street stall, get noodles
add fish sauce,
dry chilli,
pickled chilli,
sugar,
mix
let baby eat with chop sticks,

amazing watching the thai babys eat spicy food, can use chopsticks before western kids can pick up a spoon.

Pip,

Just relax and have a good time. Sit back and enjoy the sun, a few cocktails and some very good food.

The little one will be fine.
