Or 9 months earlier what were your Mum and Dad gyrating to? Or when you turned 18?
I was born to 'Runaway' by Del Shannon, and conceived to 'Tell Laura I love Her' by Ricky Valance. Pretty cool!
By the way, that site only goes back to 1952 with charts for the UK, US and Australia, which I assume is when charts started, so sorry to all you old gits out there!
Maybe Admin can work out the birth song for HHAD?

Well the chart doesn't go back to '50 but I would bet something by either the Everly Brothers, Isley(sp) Brothers, Elvis or the Big Bopper. Or, the new rock & roll craze may not have taken affect yet so it well could have been someone like Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Patti Page, Bing Crosby or one of those sister groups etc.
Now, it's time to get back in my rockin' chair, chew my pinch and soak my corns. MA....take the squirrel out of the ice box for dinner....LOL. Pete

Jeeze, of all the good music in the late 60's, Hendrix, The Stones, Joplin...I thought it was bound to be a cool one! And what is it?
