Spam prevention mods installed

We have installed two modifications to the board that will hopefully stop the spammers but may affect some of you.

1) New members cannot post URL's until they have made 10 posts and have been active for 7 days. We hope genuine members wont mind waiting as this should eliminate the one off link spammers.

2) Registration has been altered to the effect that any profile information will be automatically rejected. There is a warning message for genuine members to prevent them from entering anything. Spambots that put stuff in automatically will no longer get through.

We hope this will eliminate the spam and make the board a better place for all of us.

The rubbish I was referring to was the links to porn sites and spam in general.
That we do not need on here.
The more cosmopolitan this forum is the better.
