We want your opinion!

Post by Wanderlust »

It's been a while since we had a good Pool League thread (groans from the audience  ) but hopefully this one will be a positive experience! I offered, and was taken up on the offer, to put together a survey to be completed by as many people involved in the pool scene as possible. I have tried as much as possible to make it without any bias or 'side' at all, but apologies if anyone finds any! You can go to the survey from the Pool League website, http://www.huahinpool.multiservers.com by clicking on the relevant link under the main menu.
Please take this seriously as hopefully it is going to help formulate ideas and improve pool nights for everyone; the introduction to the survey explains more about the intent and practicalities.
Thank you.

Thank you BG. We have been having some problems with the website handling the forms, namely that they didn't tell us that there was a limit of only 10 forms that would be stored, and once that limit was reached no more forms could be submitted! Consequently we have changed to another site, and the link above has been slightly amended. The form is identical in content but has a different look. If you have already tried to submit a form and failed then please try again, as (fingers crossed) everything will be OK now. I have received forms from BG, Burger, JW, chris and mark so if you thought you had submitted I am afraid you will have to try again. Many apologies but it was out of my hands.

WOW
That is one fantastic survey...I hope you get some good ideas and put them into practice.
I've only one suggestion, it isn't in the survey. Ask for / look for. People who like to watch pool but are not necessarily interested in playing the game and would like to become impartial referees!

I'd enjoy refereeing. :D

Thank you, Onlyme. But are you serious? If you are then contact the organisers as they are always after people to referee, particularly in 'important' matches such as cup finals.

Sorry Jankou, I don't think any statistics are kept about the fun league. Besides, you'd have to ask the organizers, not me, I've retired from organizing leagues.
