Dragon Boat Race Day 3 November

Post by barrys »

The annual Pak Nam Pran Dragon Boat Races will be held on 3 November this year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Competing in this once-a-year spectacle will be 18-20 30-man boats (including a local farang team for the first time ever) plus 6-8 50-man boats.

Mermaid Cruises' 70-foot double-decker pleasure boat, the Peacock, will be moored half-way down the course with a view of the start and finish lines.

We have a total of just 20 spaces available on the boat for spectators.
Price THB 500 per head for family/friends of team members or for HHAD members, including substantial lunch.

Bar on the boat all day at normal downtown prices.

Free river taxi provided all day for transport between the Peacock and Mermaid Cruises Pier.

Booking via PM or email (barry@huahincruises.com) or telephone (032-632223 or 084-8007400)

Sorry to be a letdown but don't think I'll be able to make it on the day. Why can't they arrange these things at the weekend ????
