JAS gets rights to the English Premier League

Post by GroveHillWanderer »

So, apparently True Visions had lost the rights to cover the EPL and a company called JAS now has the rights.
At a board meeting on November 11, 2024, JAS approved the acquisition, securing exclusive broadcasting rights for six seasons, beginning with the 2025-2026 Premier League season. The rights cover Thailand, Laos and Cambodia and will be distributed via internet TV, digital TV and short clip packages.

I suppose its now a waiting game to see how they will actually broadcast here. I think its good to see True out of the picture, because their prices for Premier League doubled for me last season.

The last time True lost it, and Bein won the rights, it all became affordable, and True followed for a couple of seasons when they won it back. It would be nice to see JAS do something similar.
