Best Way of Getting To Hua Hin
Hello There
Wondering what the best way is to get to Hua Hin from the Airport at Bangkok after a very long international flight so not particularly looking at using a bus or train.
How mush should I be paying - any recommendations and how long should it take.

What time will you be arriving. There is a fairly decent bus service between about 7am and 6pm. After that, I would suggest taxi.
Bus will cost <400฿
You should be able to book a taxi to meet you for about 1800฿

Any recommendations for booking a taxi please
Re: Best Way of Getting To Hua Hin
I always use Bliss - been using them regularly since 2000. Never let me down. Pay the driver when he's delivered you. Simple to book. Last time I booked with them was earlier today for October.

NB: You may be able to save 200฿ with a different company, but Bliss cars and drivers are excellent.

I’ve given up on the buses.
Better to pay 1,800 to Bliss Travel and save 1 to 2 hours (or more) – no waiting times and a faster ride, door to door.
Plus, a toilet stop if needed – no more bobbing around trying to pee in the back of the bus.
Take care, as Bliss Travel have sent a minibus on two occasions, and one time a Toyota Altis – not comfortable.
Now, I always specify a Toyota Camry.
I would avoid the 'Eco Vehicle" at 1,600 – it’s probably a Nissan Almera.
Also, Bliss Travel have an online form – no misunderstanding on time and location, etc.

Yes, I have had a couple of 'upgrades' over the years, including mini-buses. The last mini bus I had back in December was a luxury bus, with just 4 very large seats. Probably my most comfortable ride ever. I have had 2 normal mini-buses, which aren't so comfortable.
Regarding the Eco vehicle, I am most likely the largest person on this Forum. I took one to Don Mueang a couple of months back, and I was comfortable enough. Yes, the Camry gives you more room, but if travelling alone, do you need that extra space?
I've booked their SUV (when carrying the wheelchair) a few times, but only 3 times have I received a SUV. However, the vehicle will always be bigger, rather than smaller than your order. The only problem is, they always consider a basic mini bus an upgrade on anything.
I don't think Bliss will disappoint you.

I've used Hua Hin Cab for various trips, including Swampy, in the past. Always on time, safe driver, very accommodating when I changed time/date at short notice (due to my own incompetence I might add). A tad more expensive than Bliss at 2000bht airport to Cha Am, but good, reliable service.
It's all good

Re: Best Way of Getting To Hua Hin
One word of warning with Bliss at the moment. There seems to be a problem with their online booking at the moment. If you try to book, and don't receive an immediate acknowledgement, you will need to e-mail your request. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

I always use Hua Hin Taxi. 1700 baht from my doorstep near Blúport to the airport. Great drivers and way, way quicker than a bus.
