Immigration now wanting photos for driving license address letters

Heads up: my neighbour has just come back from immigration (Dan Singkhon) to get residency letters for his Thai driving licenses. They're asking for photos now which resulted in a 20km round trip into Prachuap town and back.

Not sure if HH are doing this but be aware and take some with you anyway.

You can get photos at HH Immigration.

I had to supply photo's for a proof of address/residency document to buy a car just last week at Hua Hin Soi 35 immy. Photo's taken by the very efficient lady at the copy machine.

That lady is very good. Sometimes knows more than the 'helpers'. Knows exactly what copies, documents and photos are required. I would imagine she's saved a lot of time for some people.

Not everyone goes to HH immigration, hence the heads up for those that have to use other offices.

Dan Singkhon immigration has a photo machine, maybe was out of service.
