A3 & A1 size plots & prints

Post by Jaime »

Is there anywhere in Hua Hin where I will be able to print from files - either pdf or AutoCad (.dwg) files - onto A3 and possibly up to A1 size paper?

I have some work to do when I am in HH through April so it would be useful to know if there is any print shop that can print architectural drawings.

Cheers,

Jaime

Jaime,

The biggest and best that I know of is on the west side of Petchakasem just north (about 50 meters) of the Chom Sin intersection. The have a large amount of kit includinjg some contraption that looks a bit plotterish. I will be there tomorrow and will ask.

How difficult is the export of .dwg files to another format.

Nice one Guess. Actually I can print to pdf so as long as they can print pdf files, which they should be able to then that is fine.

Thanks again,

Jaime

I went there today. They can only do up to A3 from a PC. The larger stuff is for copying only (or I think that is what she was saying). I mentioned Auto CAD but got looks of puzzlement. I did not specifically mention .pdf files but I can not see the problem. Acroibat reader comes free and has a print facility through the standard PC driver. So should be OK.

I would guess that anything bigger that A3 can only be done in Bangkok.

I have had signs printed on vinyl from .pdf files up to 1 x 1.2 meters but they always have to be sent to Bangkok and arrive a couple of days later.
