returning to Hua Hin

Post by smitty »

Good Day from the Bay Area again.

I still can not mention how much I enjoyed Hua Hin ovr Phuket. My wife and I and probably a few friends as well will be rretrning to Hua Hin next year.

As for my earlier comment regarding liking Hua Hin over Phuket, I guess you can chalk it up to me not liking the over commercialization of Phuket. Of course there are some very nice Islands there that you can have almost to yourself. But nothing is quit like the peace and solitude of Hua Hin. :thumb:

I've read that, now Hua Hin is fast replacing Phuket due to the Tsunami for Euopean tourist. That is alright.

I've al;so heard that many who have visited Hua Hin, have really ewnjoyed themselves and are trying to buy vacation property there (Farangs only).

Well they do have some very reasonably priced homes there as compared to other beach resort areas in Thailand.

I''ve viewed some of the properties for sale over thenet and have found that some properties are far over priced though. This is a common practice all over the world, especially once they find out that foreigners want to buy vacation property there. Both the native popuylation ad the government, as well as the foreigners living there tend to gauge those that follow.

It is the whole, I have and you want thing going on. There is notbing wrong there. It is also called supply and demand, econ 101. :guns:
