Soi 88 closed to cars

I've recently tried to come home using Soi 88. I entered the Soi at the West End. There was a sign there scribbled in Thai, which I now know means motorcycles only.

The good news is that they are at last repairing the significantly damaged road along there.

Hopefully somebody can advise how long the road is closed for.

I tried to travel this road en-route to Cha-Am this morning. The good news is the road is open, and the stretch of road past the boxing gym is lovely. However, the rest of the road is as bad as ever.

From the Hin Lek Fai turn-off, all along to the white (elephant) courthouse there are 'level marker pins' down the middle of the road.
Also at the top end of 94, & where it comes round to meet 88 has had levels taken.
Now 94 is a mess..water has been running over that road for 10yrs now!
But the whole length of 88 from the crossing, round to the right & all the way up is bad too..could do with a major deposit of tarmac..& some drainage also!

Yes, I often go that way, but the roadwork signs are displayed now, and according to Mrs BB that stretch is closed. Of course, motorcycles are still using it.
