Mother nature is really trying to send us a message.
Yes, she's trying to tell us to quit reproducing at a faster rate than we are dying or she will take control.... meanwhile there are smartphone apps...
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
The are very few new antibiotics coming onto the market now and in the forseeable future, and there have been many articles in the media about the lack of these new drugs. The unrealistic golden age of a pill for every ill may soon slowly start to end or at least be eroded slow. There are drug resistant viruses and bacteria (TB, malaria and so on) everywhere now, just a matter of time till the last few fail-safe powerful antibiotics like vancomycin start to be less effective.
I guess many pharma companies don't see the profit in developing new antibiotics when as soon as they do then generic copies at a fraction of the price spring up so fast........wrong attitude but sad that research is so profit and patent driven.
