SIM Registration

Post by canthai »

I have a DTAC simm card from last year. We will be arriving in Thailand on January 5, 2006. I understand that all SIM cards that have not been registered will not work. I was wondering what I need to do and where I should go. I will be in Bangkok for a few days so I should probably address the issue there. When they say that you will not be able to register your SIM card after the deadline does that mean that your card is junk and you will have to purchase a new registerable card.

canthai,

There is already a long thread on this subject.

Anyway to re-iterate. It so not so drastic. Just go to any supplier withyour passport and they will do it for you.
