The only ones I have seen out here are petrol, but I'll take a look in Thai Watsadu next time I go there.magnum wrote:I am looking for an electric chainsaw for heavy garden work,I looked in homepro when last in Huahin but no luck as anyone seen any for sale locally to save the trouble of bringing one out.

I believe you require a special permit from some authority to allow you to purchase a chain saw. My apologies that I do not have more information on this but perhaps another forum member can expand on this issue

I was in TW today and they had 3 petrol chainsaws ranging from 6,000 to 14,000 baht, but no electric chainsaws on display.Dannie Boy wrote:The only ones I have seen out here are petrol, but I'll take a look in Thai Watsadu next time I go there.magnum wrote:I am looking for an electric chainsaw for heavy garden work,I looked in homepro when last in Huahin but no luck as anyone seen any for sale locally to save the trouble of bringing one out.
