Hello, can you recommend a decent local for teachers?

Post by Tolstoy »

Hello! I've just moved to KuiBuri, about 45 minutes outside of hua Hin, where I'm teaching English. I was wondering if there was a local where farang teachers got together? The monotony of Kuiburi is getting to me a bit.
Thanks for an informative forum!

I know many locals. Most of them only speak Thai. What specifically are you looking for?

Steve are you only looking to meet up with other teachers? In any case I think you might have to travel a bit to Dolphin Bay, Khao Kalok, Pak Nam Pran area to find a few farangs in a bar.

Exactly, other teachers, if possible. I've never heard of these places, any advice on what they are, or where to go while there, would be great! Thanks!

Have a look at the South of Hua Hin section viewforum.php?f=36

PakNam Pran, Dolphin Bay, Khao Kalok etc are all coastal villages/areas south of HH but north of you. Nice motorbike ride, I should think, on a quiet Sunday. Plenty of options to stop for lunch. Explore.
