YouTube, despite being an endemic source of pointless crapola, has some subscribers who use it to host good worthwhile stuff like TV documentaries and classic films. So, as I come across good subscriber channels I will post em here with notes on what they contain. If you fnd others do the same, and we can build up a good list.
NB: - try to keep it fairly vague as to the content ie "history docs" rather than specific...you never know who is scanning this site, and docs channels are notorious for scanning YouTube and taking down stuff
So.... off we go
http://www.youtube.com/user/PIETRASZE/videos - big list of history documentaries and some travel stuff....

http://www.youtube.com/user/HistoryFeed/videos - smaller lst of history docs

http://www.youtube.com/show?p=8NtSYAZY9Y8&s=3 - VANGUARD a current events show from Current Channel....does investigatory journalism on a wide range of subjects...some full shows, some clips

http://www.youtube.com/user/TheVideoCellar/videos - very old classic films from the Golden Age of Hollywood (30s 40s and 50s)

http://www.youtube.com/user/MagisterJacobs/videos - history documentaries and drama series

http://www.youtube.com/user/sdudly1 - a popular DC show abut two guys who build custom bikes and hate each others guts.
And now for some single film links
- Stargate
- Judge Dredd
- Waterloo
- Hitchikers Guide
- The Crow
NB - wth the above look in the sidebar for more full movies....I found Cleopatra and Alexander The Great (the Richard Burton version) that way.
More to come as I find em

ps: Use a FireFox plug in like DownloadHelper to capture and download the vids if you want to keep em.
