Chiropractor

Post by Hobiecat »

I've asked this question once before but had no luck. Has anyone found or use a chiropractor local to HH? Going to BKK for treatment is getting to be a real pain in the ....you know what!

Thanks

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Why, do you know a treatment or cure? I have bouts of that once in a while.

Hobiecat, I think Bangkok is still your best option for a licensed chiro. There are two or three massage therapists or sports medicine places here that claim to do chiropractic but I've heard mixed results about visits to them.

I was told by another sufferer that an acupuncturist could solve my sciatica and lower back problems, but I haven't tried one. If you know of one of those here you might give that a try.

Just an FYI, I have bad lower back problems now, and had them for a long time years ago. I didn't have them in between periods when I was 20 pounds lighter than I am now. I'm convinced the cure is weight loss thus taking the added pressure off your spine that it wasn't built to handle. Pete

Unfortunately, Pete, I don't think that's an option for me since I've already given up everything in life that gave me joy except eating and drinking... I'll just take some Advil with a glass of wine and suffer through it! :D :D :D

Well this is the place I've been going to in BKK for year's "D Spine" google it and you'll find their address off Sukhumvit Soi 24 and two other BBK locations. Very happy with the doctor's there who are all expat professional's. I also go to Grand Massage here in HH (on the corner of Chom Sin, Soi 55 and Naeb Kehardt Rd.) for massage sessions in between visits. The best licensed Clinical Massages I've found so far in HH. The Mamasan there worked in a couple hospitals in Europe providing massage therapy to patients some years ago and truly has the most magical hands (strong) for folks with back problems. This is the best relief I've been able to find locally so far.

Weigh lose is the key to back care for many folks but fortunately my beer belly is just slightly over my belt line. I'm still a beginner.

There is a fantastic Thai lady in town with the name of Daa, she is a teacher of massage and exceptionally good. The usual rate is 300 per hour.
You could find out her mobile number from Jing at Jings or the (boss)? lady at Moonlight bar.
