I have seen no Lambrettas in Thailand and the Vespas I've seen are most likely manufactured on license in Malaysia or another Asian country. But do look around on Petchkasem going north from the center of town. There are a number of garages, mechanics, used motorcy dealers, used car dealers, salvage shops and other scum of the earth. Who knows, you may just get lucky.

Actually, there is a big following of both Lambrettas and Vespas in Thailand. Google it to find out more.

Does anybody know what became of the ones that late Dr Dave had? He also had a lot of spare parts as he was restoring some of them.

Seen a few Lammys and vespas in Hua hin would like one out there myself just sold my Tv 175 back home.I would think you could get a new twist n go for the price you wouldpay for old Lammy sx type.
You could bring one in from Vietnam the quality is a lot better than it was, try Saigon scooters run by english guy not cheap but good.Vespas a bit cheaper than Lammy,as for import tax your on your own dont have a clue.
