British,Aussie/ Kiwi/ 'Bok etc at the new BKK Hospital HH

Post by Dr Mike »

The Swedish and Dutch clubs are going to visit or hospital. I thought i would invite the Brit Club to come but find that there isn't one.
I thought perhaps we could have a Brit and Commonwealth group around one night in April and show you our facility and tell you all about it.

I was thinking of a name for the group ---British, Commonwealth, all a
bit formal--SOMS (sons of mother England) wives would complain--what about Sons or Daughters of Mother England (SODOMITES)

Probably in April. if any interest, let me know

Is England the only country in the British Commonwealth?

No, Sons of Mother England is a nineteenth century, tongue in cheek expression, I think of Australian origin, to identify those who were sent to the colonies, sometimes against their will by English judges.

The In-patient facility is coming along well and in fact the first paient has been admitted this morning, fora short stay.

I have been in touch with the Dutch Club and the Swedish Association and arranged visits.

Perhaps a Brit and commonwealth group could visit---I would suggest jusy before Songkperhaps 11 or 12 contact me ------- drmjmoreton@gmail.com

I hope the length of stay is due to the good administrations of your colleagues and not the other way round Doc.

The hospital seems to be coming along in leaps and bounds, good luck to you and all those involved in setting it up.
I sincerely hope I never have need of such a facility, but it's good to know one exists, should I need it.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

Cool, now do a deal with the Aussie government, to get their scheduled rates from Veteran Affairs (rates probably alot more than charged normally by Bkk Hosp.); and of course the paperwork to swipe my Gold card.
And ya have me a patient should the need arise, which I trust is never.

Although from thje Bkk Hosp. in Phuket, following a shower fall on (R) shoulder.
The Orthapod (about like late 20's) said no big deal, a minor injury.

Now like 6 month latter, although little irregular pain; my (R) A/C joint is clearly like an inch higher than my left.

So not brimming with confidence at diagnostics skills of supposed specialists employed at Bkk Hosp. in my very limited experience.

I will let someone else do the brain work for an acronym but we have A for Aussies, NZ for Kiwis, SA for South Africans, maybe an R for Rhodesians, I for Indians, P for Pakistanis, can't forget G for Gurkas, J for Jamacians, WI for West indies then the ESW & I for English, Scittish, Welsh, & irish.... Did I forget any ?.....

Howabout as we used to say in the army for difficult to pronounce names when calling the roll,..... "wheel barrow starting with a ?".....

Or what about just the multi cultural group, which about sums up the Commonwealth of nations.

Or subjects of the Queen/King group.

Just a few idea to idly pass the time, but too lazy to do the work to come up with a good acronym.
