IMHO, there are a fair few that could make a claim...... unfortunately I can't see them on Rolling Stone's list.

In May, 2004, The British performing rights group Phonographic Performance Ltd celebrated its 70th anniversary by listing the 70 songs that have played most in Great Britain on the radio, in clubs and on jukeboxes. No indication was given of how many times the songs were played. The Top Ten are:

1. Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale
2. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
3. Wet Wet Wet - Love Is All Around
4. Everly Brothers - All I Have To Do Is Dream
5. Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
6. Abba - Dancing Queen
7. Elvis Presley - All Shook Up
8. Rod Stewart - Maggie May
9. The Beatles - Hello Goodbye
10. The Beatles - Get Back
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

1. Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale
2. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
3. Wet Wet Wet - Love Is All Around
4. Everly Brothers - All I Have To Do Is Dream
5. Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
6. Abba - Dancing Queen
7. Elvis Presley - All Shook Up
8. Rod Stewart - Maggie May
9. The Beatles - Hello Goodbye
10. The Beatles - Get Back
Of that top ten I think that for Wet Wet Wet to be at No.3 is a bigger achievement than the rest. If I'm not mistaken the others have had many years head start.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

Nirvana - smells like teen shite. Give me a break...!

Thing was shite when it came out and its still shite now. They are only famous because some scruffy head case blew his brains out.

Dave's a cool dude though.

Big Bottom by Spinal Tap.

Met the woman who wrote 'Windy' for The Association (over 4 million plays). Knew her husband for the previous five years as a fellow member of a Los Angeles hang gliding club. After hearing that she wrote 'Windy', somebody showed their lack of class and asked how much the yearly royalties were. 'Almost enough to live on' said the one-hit wonder.
