A friend of mine like to sell her car as soon as possible, she has to go back to US.

Master Kluas, just to help with the vehicle details on the vehicle your friend wants to sell.

Looks to me like a VL Commodore that was sold here is Aus between about 1986-1989. Engine is the RB30 Engine that was used here originally in the Local Built Nissan Skyline (R31 Models) and then Holden used them in a sort of model share situation that the two company's had at the time.
Lot of people reckon that at the time it was one of the best Commodore's made.
Hope that helps you in your quest to sell the car.

Most of the standard VL Commodores were not Turbo models, just normal 6 cylinder EFI. As far as I know the Australian Police took all of the Turbo Models for use as Highway Patrol Cars. They only came into the normal market when all the old models were sold off at auction.
Only other way to make it turbo model was to fit aftermarket turbo kits to the engines
