Hi, can anyone help me, I have been with my gf now for 14 months and are about to apply for a visa to visit the UK.
Is the correct form a VAF1??
I might have other questions further along the line but this is it for now!!
Thanks,

Flannel,
It'd be worth your while having a look here http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/policy ... tionrules/
Have a look here as well http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visit ... documents/
Finally, look here http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... f2visitors
I would think the form you require is a VAF1A. However, if you go for a Fiance Visa, which might be easier to obtain, you'd need a VAF1F.

Following on from BB's reply you might also want to look here, this is the website for the Visa Application Centre in Bangkok, it has a lot of useful info including all the forms and supporting documents.

I would suggest she applies for the visa that meets her travel needs, if it's just a visit apply for the visitors visa.
A health warning to everyone, there has been an increase of late of hustlers from the agents working in Regent House hijacking people arriving and relieving them of wads of cash in the pretext that they are some part of the process, be very careful they are very convincing.
