Personally I think the Grand Market, or an indoor place (over the lines onto Chomsin and first turning right - its a few yards down on the left.) Theres also the night market further down there behind the driving range.
You won't find anything swish at the markets, but if you can live with puppy dog patterned quilts they are good value.
More subtle sophisticated stuff is available at upmarket shops - and in Bangkok of course - but it all gets laundered to death anyway.

There is a stall on the first floor of market village on the left hand side near to the DIY store. She has a good selection of reasonable priced bedding. Hope this helps

You can also try the shop at the bottom of the non-stepped escalators, some good materials.

I prefer white sheets - I really can't hack (as Mags puts it) the puppy dog and teddy bear stuff. Trying to find something that looks a bit classy is a nightmare.

The Winner shop going north on the Petchkasem Road sells plain white sheets which are pretty good quality. They cost about 500 baht for a king-sized bed. They're in plain plastic bags with no name or logo - I guess they may be aimed at the hotel/guest house market. We use a fitted sheet for the mattress and the white sheet as a kind of cover-up. However hot it is I can't bear to sleep without some kind of covering. Oh, they're also not fitted sheets - so you'll have to practice your hospital corners if you're going to use them for the bottom sheet.

Hi VS - 'hospital corners' is probably lost on a lot of our male chums here! But agreed - a top sheet only is usually enough in LOS, apart from a few Dec/Jan nights. And why is it they do those quilts with un-removeable covers?

The Primark idea could be good except for 2 things. 1) Thai beds are often huge and 2) last time I was in our Primark the Q was so huge I gave up. It makes MV look like a Grand Day Out!

Tsk, tsk those of us in the military (at least US military) know them well. Was taught at the young age of 19 by a drill sargeant who used to kick me in the leg when I got it wrong, as he did to everyone else.

Another lost art is short-sheeting a bed. :D Pete

Bought mine in Bangers at the local Homepro at ChitLom between Paragon and Nana, so HP at Market Village might be an option. The ex-TGF also showed me a little place (barely more than a shed, but very cheap) on soi 56 just south of the canal road (or over the tracks on the right going from Petchkasem).
Had enough of the trolls. Going to sleep. I may be some time....

Right on Pete, and my drill instructor (Chief Petty Officer) used to throw a quarter onto the middle of the made bunk and it better be tight enough for the quarter to bounce into the air or it was ripped up thrown out the window and you had to go hand launder it and make the bed again!
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Over the tracks and round the big bend then up a few hndred yards till you see the 7/11 and Family Mart occupying two corners on the left side.
Across the road is an open-front furniture shop.
I bought nice-looking beddng with contemporary patterns/colours.

Pete, we were also doing both when I joined the Royal Navy in 1980, the hospital corners and by short-sheeting I take it you mean the trick where you fold the bottom sheet back up and over the blanket so the occupant of the bunk can't get his legs in, which works a treat on drunken people!

So you guys might be able to explain where the saying 'three sheets to the wind' came from then?

I knew it referred to someone drunk but as usual, that wasn't the original meaning. Here's what phrase.org has to says. Pete
