Do-rags
Do-rags
Has anyone seen any "do-rags" here? For those who don't know that name refers to a large hankie type head covering that is worn by motorcycle riders (and others) to cover the head or hair. It is usually a colorful cloth made to tie over or around the head and made of cotton or other perspiration absorbent material.
I'm sure I could get someone to make some cheaply, but I just wondered if anyone had seen them for sale here.

pirates
These always make me think pirates have come ashore in our town just missing the eye patch and a hearty,"Aaarrr Matey!"
I have seen them for sale in those night markets going north out of town on Petchkasem.

Just a gentle mick-take, hhf - I'm sure you wouldn't look ridiculous...
You are effectively talking about big hankies, and I love 'em, as I sweat freely. I keep them in my pocket, though - don't want to frighten the students! Mrs DM bought 4 for 100 baht in Market Village just the other day, near the bakery apparently.

This is the way
I've looked for regular white linen or cotton hankies to use like a head band but all the ones I've seen here are too small to go around my fat head and still leave room to tie in the back!

I tell my wife the big head is indicative of a large brain (and also indicative of large appendages), and being an innocent Thai lass, she believes me.
