A friend took me to this place about a month ago and I have been a regular visitor since .It has a fairly limited Italian menu and a good selection of cold cuts and cheeses as well as home made antipasti .I challenge anyone to tell me a place in HH that beats it for this type of food .It is opposite " all in Hua Hin " .The carbonara is ,without question, the best I have had in Thailand .
I will Check out that place when I'm next time in Hua Hin. which I hope will be soon.
One Question do have also Caprese (Italian Mozzarella on Fresh Tomatoes) If yeas than that place will be on my Hitlist for an incomming visit!!!

food is ok but nothing special, small portions, but myself and Thai wife went in a few times, had an Italian guy behind the counter, when he seen us, he just walked away, left the staff to serve us, second time we went we said hello, he just ignored us again, 3rd time the food order was wrong, he overheard the conversation, and said nothing, then some other Italians came in and he was nice as pie to them.
then I asked to see the manager, the waitress pointed at him and said he was to busy to deal with us.
so as to many places in HH, we took our business and taken friends to other places to eat.
so if your not Italian but English, don't expect polite, good service there.
pizza pizza does some great dishes, try there, next to villa supermarket.
The pasta is superb and is probably the best in S.E. Asia. The Italian guy behind the counter is the owner Dominico. His English is not that good, but he is welcoming and friendly. We trry and eat there once or twice a week when in HH.
Perhaps it is under new management as nothing from your experiences matches mine .Warm handshake greetings, superb food, complimentary liquers after the meal, unlimited bread and olives from the moment you walk in .The owner has limited English so maybe it could be the same guy and he has improved quality and service since your last visit .Have not tried the Place next to Villa yet but will do soon .
I've been there several times and had the same experience as Crazy88... great food, friendly service. Don't know what happened on your visit heretostay. I can't even imagine you're talking about the same place.
sure the small Italian place opposite all in hua hin, went in last week to see the deli counter, still the same miserable sod there, and some crazy prices of his cheeses ,more than villa supermarket.
They do a very good "Made in Thailand" salami which is a fraction of the price of the imported variety and dare I say it ........ a selection of olives.
Went there about a year or so ago and was hugely impressed. The guy who owns it was out of the country at the time, so we didn't meet him, but give him a break. If his English isn't that good, then his personal contact is obviously going to be limited.
The Thai waitress couldn't have been nicer, and the free nibbles before our main course were delicious. I'm not a fan of air-con so we sat outside on their little veranda. It's not a large restaurant, and the bit outside ain't big - so don't turn up with a party of 20!
All in all a very pleasant experience, and not silly expensive.
