Hopefully you won't decide to start practising your swing in the Soi Joy area :D

Thats the spirit Dave, have a go at me cos you broke one of the bats and almost killed three people.

Maybe I just don’t realize how strong I am but yes it did travel further than any one of buksida's best efforts
Yep, thats why Mancs are the best golfers, cos they're 'arder than everyone else.

I'll settle for the trench mate, it takes some skill to get it in there everytime!

Am I going to have anything faintly resembling a set of clubs after you've finished with them, Monsta?
BTW, HH driving range is installing flashing red lights on the roof of the tee off area to warn others if the Monsta is around.

I heard that the Soul Monsta was going to the range this morning, and now feel well happy that it was not a good idea to go!! Hitting balls into thr roof and back into the range happens quite a lot, the trick is too shout real quick " Who the f*** did that" while looking all around for the culprit - this works best with a full range of course but can help. I have told Dave before that he would be banned from any golf course very quickly, am propbably right.
Maybe next week ill take a look at our new protege, keeping on the Motorbike helmet though!

It Is rather a good photo! I took it, amazing how the two people body count gains weight into 3 people body count within hours
not sure of the quality of the Bat , how ever can honestly say I didn’t hit the floor with it ...
The bat was made for some chap called Ben Hogan circa 1906

JW your opinion is as warranted as a dose of herpes give the lad a chance you makham s.o.b
im sure if you ask Lumo he will proberbly shake his head and admit for my first visit I did extreeeeeeeeeemly well considering the body count and other casualties

I doubt that the club was:
a) made FOR ben hogan
b) made in 1906

Ben Hogan

Born: Aug. 13, 1912
Golfer

4-time PGA Player of Year; one of only five players to win all four Grand Slam titles (others are Nicklaus, Player, Sarazen and Woods); won 4 U.S. Opens, 2 Masters, 2 PGAs and 1 British Open between 1946-53; one of only two players (Woods) to win three of the four current majors in one year when he won Masters, U.S. Open and British Open in 1953; nearly killed in Feb. 2, 1949 car accident, but came back to win U.S. Open in '50; third on all-time list with 63 career wins.

Died: July 25, 1997

My Iron clubs are all Ben Hogans Apex , never had a problem with them ( apart that they were more difficult to play in the start ( pro versions )

BH makes very good clubs with a nice feel and very nice look.

I was actually being facetious and humorous regarding the date of manufacture and as the name means not a thing to me ,If the name had been something like Nuccio Bertone I would have known that he had at least designed many a stunning auto mobile and of course the last produced Lambretta Italian motor scooter in 1968 the Gp lambretta

Dave,

He is called Mr Hogan to you and the rest of us mortals!
The man invented something as beautiful to us golfers as your scooter bloke did for you scooters guys!

Swinging at daisies is like playing electric guitar with a tennis racket: if it were that easy, we could all be Jerry Garcia. The ball changes everything."

I wasn't going to allow you anything more dangerous than a putter today. Even with that, I'm sure you could chalk up some serious damage.

Absolutely right. BH changed the game in a way that Tiger does right now.

but one thing is wrong, not the ball changes ervything, but the guy swinging at it..

JW Im shocked at you especially with you being a second hand car sales man not knowing the Bertone family name and design house they have probably had their finger in anything shiny red and fast as f##k that has come out of Italy, they went a bit wrong with the scooter not quite as fast as a Ferrari, But a modified lambretta has eaten a Ferrari for break fast over a standing quarter as shown on top gear some years ago

BJ seemed to have touched a nerve somewhere there, I will continue to attend the range and improve on my recent performance, if only to upset JW, maybe you could attend and give some one on one personal training and pass on some of your knowledge and expertise of the golf game and history
