Actually, if we believe the experts, the trade winds weaken during El Nino.hhinner wrote:It seems to me that it's been windy every day so far this year. From morning until evening, when the wind drops. I go for a bike ride every morning about 10.30 and it's always quite windy, such that I pick a route with the outbound half into the wind and the return journey with it. I don't recall previous years being so windy every day. El Nino maybe? Of course end of March is kite season so there will normally be some wind now. Very gusty right now.
I find the evenings still pleasantly cool as well, which seems to be quite late into the year.
Well we're pretty much inland here in Nakhon Pathom, and we've had a lovely breeze for weeks. Mr.VS complains about it when he cycles back from the university. Just been sitting outside in the breeze and it's a good 10 degrees cooler than inside.prcscct wrote: If true that should keep things pleasant. How far inland does it get?
