Same here, wear as required to enter 7-11, Makro, Global House & Homepro. And I'll follow the locals lead, if all masked up, rare, then so be it. If not, and most lax, I'll do the same. Thankfully the latter applies.
Don't think I ever stated they didn't have any effect in slowing the virus, as sick people should be wearing. Even better, stay home. That goes for any infectious disease. One good thing about the virus, it made people more aware of personal health care & hygiene.
Just stated they offer little protection to a healthy person trying to avoid the virus. Social distance & personal hygiene, and keeping immune system strong are so much more important. For me, the hassle & discomfort level of wearing vs risk of the virus ... I'm personally not concerned. Non issue IMHO.
Just choose not to.
