Just a few observations here, as we know everything has gone up - the vehicle costs double to fill, mrs B comments on the increase in household items, I comment on the damage to my wallet and life goes on ...
What about restaurants? I haven't noticed a significant price increase but have noticed smaller portions and 'extra charges', example being 'Sam Poo Ying' restaurant on the Klong road now charging paying customers for using the pool.
Anyone else noticed a trend? Personally I'd rather restaurants put up their prices and maintain the quality/size of their meals and drop the 'hidden charges' as opposed to skimping on the servings and keeping the prices the same. After all we now expect everything to cost more.
Thoughts on a postcard ...

One of my favourite breakfast eateries (an expensive weekly treat) has recently decided that to cut costs it will serve up lower quality meat, and instead of real delicious cheese, is using the shite they put in burgers (that plastic stuff). Now I'm paying a high price for that breakfast, it's more expensive than most. That should indicate I don't mind paying for quality. So bloody well stick a few baht on the price and give me proper bloody cheese! Sadly if things are the same this weekend I shall have to seek a new breakfast eatery.
